The Beginning Part 1

Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
1:16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
1:17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
1:18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.

In 2002, Pastor Loa and his family were living in Madisonville, Kentucky. Pastor Loa had felt for several years that he was suppose to start a Spanish church in a small neighboring town called Sebree.  One day as he was passing through Sebree, the Lord spoke to him and said, “Now is the time!”. Knowing it was finally time, Pastor Loa decided to rent a small apartment on the main road in Sebree to start a Spanish church.

Around the same time, a family originally from Toluca, Mexico moved to Sebree to work. They ended up renting the apartment next door to the church. Soon afterwards Pastor Loa began inviting them to the services.  Because their living situation was only temporary, Erick and Lucia (the couple from Toluca) ended up moving to another house in town, and Pastor Loa lost contact with them.

One day Pastor Loa was out knocking on doors, looking for Spanish-speaking people to invite to church. Low and behold, who opens the door but Lucia! He had found them again!
They visited soon afterwards. That is when  they began to realize it was not a coincidence. God began working in their lives. Before it was all over they were baptized in Jesus name, and Lucia was filled with the Holy Ghost!

Immediately, they began witnessing to their families in Toluca who were a mix of Catholic and Trinitarian Pentecostal. Soon after, their families began asking Pastor Loa to go to Toluca to give them bible studies and teach them about the oneness of God and baptism in Jesus name!
God miraculously made a way for Pastor Loa to buy the plane tickets to Mexico. After a week of bible studies with the families, twelve were baptized in Jesus name and two were filled with the Holy Ghost!
This is the couple from Toluca (Erick and Lucia)

Upon returning to the U.S. from Mexico, Pastor Loa began searching for someone who would go to Toluca to pastor these families, not realizing in the end it would be him that God would send!
